Formula & Worked Example

Revenue = Price × Quantity:

Total Fees = (Listing Fee × Qty) + (Revenue × Transaction Fee %) + (Revenue × Payment Fee % + Payment Fixed Fee × Qty).

Total Costs = Cost of Goods + Shipping + Fees.

Profit = Revenue - Total Costs.

Margin = (Profit ÷ Revenue) × 100.

Example: 100 items at $25: Revenue = $2,500.

Fees = $20 + $162.50 + $75 + $25 = $282.50.

Profit = $2,500 - $800 - $500 - $282.50 = $917.50.
